If you want to have an animal mounted for you it is important
to take proper care of it after you hunt it. Here are a few
good advice to keep in mind:

  • Cool the animal as soon as possible
  • Fish: Wrap in a wet towel and freeze.
  • Birds: Put in a plastic bag and wrap the feet in a wet
    papertowel and freeze.
  • Do not keep the animals in warm temp. for a long period
    of time.
  • Take care of the prey as you were going to make a meal
    out of it.
